Check out some of the pictures taken last Friday, January 5th, from the junior high students 'Reality Fair,' organized & run by Mrs.Morris & Mrs.Graves. At each station, volunteers from grades 9-12 were set up as sales people eager & ready to assist the junior high students. Each student received a job card, & with their salary in mind, they set off to decide what they could & couldn't afford. If necessary, students could pick up a second job to earn extra income, like the 'Barista' position seen here. Although it was just an exercise, the "reality" check this activity gives students is important & leaves a lasting impression.
