For those interested in our Adult Education program, we have two more classes being added this month, in addition to what was advertised earlier this week.
First, instructor Jeanie Palmer will host a 'Pottery' class on Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, beginning January 20th & ending February 24th. This cost of this class is $10.00, with materials costing an additional $40.00; all seniors & high school students ONLY pay for materials.
Second, there will be a 'Native Spring Wildflower & Plant ID & Uses' class offered on four consecutive Mondays, beginning April 29th, taught by the owner & operator of Dragon's Breath Farms, Megan Leach. The times & locations of these classes vary. The cost is $10.00 for participants; seniors are FREE.

Starting today, the talented & kind individuals behind 'Smiles Across Montana' will be setting up shop at W.F.Morrison Elementary School. They will be here for the remainder of the week, so you still have time to get your student signed up!

ATTN: The district-wide yearbook that is set to be published for the 2023-24 school year will be $35.00 until the end of the week on Friday, January 5th. After which, the price will increase to a cost of $40.00.

In addition to the updated list of Adult Education classes posted yesterday, a new class is being offered for beginners to learn American Sign Language. This class will begin on January 17th, & will be taught by Sylvia Maffit. Class will be held Wednesdays, from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, in room 2117 in Troy High School. The cost to participate is $10.00; students & seniors are free.

REMINDER: Drama club meets after school at 3:45 PM in the high school auditorium.

REMINDER: The junior high girls basketball team will have their first practice of the season after school today, beginning at 4:00 PM in the high school gym.

This morning, please help us in extending a HUGE 'Thank You' to Black Mountain, who generously donated $500.00 to be used towards students Transitional Learning Days, or for short, 'Friday Funday(s).' These days provide students the opportunity to engage in volunteering activities, community betterment, & integrated learning with their younger peers.

Next up, we have another Saturday of back-to-back basketball for everyone at the Troy Activity Center. The junior varsity boys game will begin at 1:00 PM, with the varsity girls game following at 2:30 PM, & the varsity boys game at 4:00 PM.
