Although there are no official District sports events taking place this evening, there will be a high school class volleyball tournament from 7:00 - 9:00 PM in the Troy Activity Center.
Additionally, in just under a week on Wednesday, October 3rd, W.F. Morrison Elementary will be hosting a 'Child Find' event, where children ages birth to five (5) years old will be assessed on their developmental skills. This event will take place from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM. & Finally, keep your eyes peeled later today to see some of Troy's best dressed BBQ dads & soccer moms!

While we have sporting events & scheduled student activities happening all week, Friday, September 29th, is packed. See below for a schedule of events.
4:00 PM - Students lineup for the parade in the high school parking lot
4:30 PM - Parade begins
5:00 - 7:00 PM - Tailgate Party @ Troy Activity Center
7:00 PM - High School Football vs. Valley Christian
8:45 PM - Bonfire & Community Movie Night @ the Trojan Football Field (after the game)
The Tailgate Party will include a bouncy house, corn hole, face painting, etc. Admission to the Community Movie Night is FREE, but there will be popcorn and candy available for purchase. & Finally, in sticking with our football theme, the featured film of the evening will be 'The Game Plan,' featuring Dwayne Johnson.

**There is no school for students on Friday, 9/29. Students MUST attend school on Thursday, 9/28, to be permitted to attend the homecoming dance on Saturday, 9/30.

Congrats to Troy High School's Girls Volleyball team for beating Superior last night & winning three sets! Additionally, thank you to the parents/guardians who support them continuously and provided us with these fantastic photos.

Friday, September 22nd will be the first Friday Fun Day held for Troy's Junior & Senior High School! It is an interactive and inclusive way for students to engage in team building while participating in transformational service.
*Students are required to attend school or their absence will officially be marked.
**Students who are behind on schoolwork will not be allowed to participate and instead, will be required to attend tutoring that day to complete their missing assignments.

Friday, November 10th from 8:00 to 11:00 am, Troy Public Schools will welcome veterans from the community to join our students in celebrating Veterans Day. Local heroes will have the opportunity to speak to and with students while enjoying tasty treats.
Parents, students, and community members are encouraged to send in photos of their loved ones who have dedicated their time and service. Photos will be displayed for all to see. Email photos directly to: osmurkowski@troyk12.org
